It's important to note that education can take many forms and there are various ways to define and measure a leader's "education." That being said, here are five powerful influential leaders who are often considered to be uneducated or have minimal formal education kin the history:

  3. Mao Zedong: Mao was a Chinese communist revolutionary who led the People's Republic of China from its establishment in 1949 until his death in 1976. He received only a basic education, but became a passionate advocate for Marxism and led the Chinese Communist Party to victory in the Chinese Civil War.
  4. Coco Chanel: Coco Chanel was a French fashion designer and businesswoman who founded the Chanel brand. She grew up in an orphanage and had no formal education, but became one of the most influential designers of the 20th century.
  5. Sheikh Hasina: Sheikh Hasina is the current Prime Minister of Bangladesh, serving since 2009. She had a limited formal education, but was heavily influenced by her father, who was also a prominent political leader. Despite facing many challenges, she has been successful in promoting economic development and improving the standard of living in Bangladesh.
  6. Mahatma Gandhi - an Indian political and spiritual leader who played a significant role in India's struggle for independence from British rule.
